{ get your YOGA on giveaway }

Another Monday, another FAB giveaway - This week we are giving away tons of Yoga goodies! Over $300 in fact! 7 of you will win one of the following...

Grand Prize - First up is a custom yoga mat from Yogamatics and a Yoga for Athletes DVD!
You can pick from one of the many uber-cool designs (limited edition) on their site or upload your own photo or image to create your own, truly unique yoga mat! These go for $85 plus s/h. Could be yours for FREE. Here is one of my favorites and I am thinking about getting one with the LobotoME Mantra image on it! I've been testing one out for the past week and it is great...it is amazing to be able to look down at an image that is peaceful, inspirational, etc. during your practice and not just a boring mat. The mats are durable, non-slippery and no one will have one like it at your yoga class (guaranteed)!

1 Runner Up Prize: The 2nd name drawn will receive a gift certificate for a pair of Even Keel Yoga Shorts. Perfect for yoga, running & the gym! I wore a pair this past weekend for traveling, yoga, an evening run and even pj's - they are so soft & comfy! Even Keel gear is a must add to your workout gear!

4 Runner Up Prizes: To help get you into your yoga groove, I am giving away 4 Yoga For Athletes DVDs from the amazing Kimberly Fowler. Check out Kimberly's new blog at I Yoga Life too! This is my favorite at home yoga DVD and I can't wait to take a class from her in person someday! A former attorney, cancer survivor, triathlete, yoga teacher & NIKE spokesperson, her yoga video filmed inside her Venice, CA studio is great!

Runner Up Prize: One lucky commenter will receive a new copy of Hip Tranquil Chick. One of my favorite yoga books on how to live a yogi lifestyle ON & OFF the yoga mat (without moving to an ashram). Kimberly Wilson is a great yoga teacher, author, clothing & jewelry designer, blogger & more. Check out her site here.

Grand prize: Custom Yogamatics Yoga Mat & a Yoga for Athletes DVD! (Over $110)
1st Runner Up Prize: A pair of Even Keel Yoga Shorts ($40)
Runner Up Prizes: 4 Yoga for Athletes DVD by Kimberly Fowler ($24.95 each)
Runner Up Prize: 1 Hip Tranquil Chick Book
by Kimberly Wilson ($16.95)

To register to win, leave ME a comment with why you need to get your Yoga ON. To get 2 additional {entries} subscribe to my FEED in the upper right hand corner of the blog (and let me know if you did are already are in the comments). I will chose the winners on Friday, August 29th at 9am MST. {note: extended one week}!

why do i need to get my yoga on? because between working full-time and being in school full-time, i don't have much space for heading to the gym or the yoga studio to take class, but when i'm in a regular yoga practice i feel better, i learn better, i sleep better ... in general it's all just better!

having a yoga dvd for home practice would be HUGE for me, as i could pop it into my computer and practice in my office whenever!

This is a whole lotta good over here. I need to get my yoga ON because since I tried it last week, I am loving it and have been surprised at how much I love it. I thought I would be bored but it is so refreshing and recharging in such a different way than my other hobbies and active interests :)

I need to get my Yoga On that mat. I left my ypga mat out when I went out and my dog bit a piece off for himself. And my chewed yoga mat isn't as pretty as that one. I would wake up and feel the beach and imagine summer all through the Fall and Winter.

My daughter practices yoga daily and has been trying to convince me to do the same. I used to be a gymnast thus very flexible and I've lost some of that. After watching the Olympics this week, I'm convinced. I'm going to get into yoga and regain some of my flexibility and strength. I'm excited about it.

Holy smokes, seven prizes! And they're all really neat!

I need to get my yoga BACK. I took classes for years when I was in school, then we moved out into the middle of nowhere, and there's not a yoga class within 70 miles of us :( I practice at home still, but I'm losing some of my...i dunno...umph that I used to have. Time for something fun to get me going again! My back needs it.

Also, I'm a subscriber to your feed :)

I'm loving your site!!! I very much need to get my yoga on. I love it when i do it, and it calms me for hours afterwards. It's the DOING it that i'm having trouble with! Sometimes it seems easier to stay stressed out :(

Why? Why? I'll tell you why. Right now my neck hurts and my feet are killing me ... all from sitting at this computer all day for my first day of work after 2 years of being a SAHM. I'm finally taking a time-out -- a much-needed one -- to read my READER and feel a bit of fresh air even though I'm stuck in the office alone and can't leave.

I love the way your mind works. I am a subscriber. Please let me win something to help ease the pain of this tough transition.

Oh, and I"m happy to be working, by the way. Just so we're clear. I'm just not used to sitting all day. I"m used to chasing two toddlers all day. And I miss them! Sob.

So why do I need to get my yoga on??? Well, since a recent trip to the desert for some R&R my new friends saw me flunk out of our private yoga class.(totally embarrassing, but actually kind of funny) I used to find the time to at least take a class for a week.. for god's sake.. I am an athlete...but have always been as flexible as a 2 x 4.. Just getting older and stiffer....What else can I day?

Jen - your generosity always inspires me, thank you! I'm checking out all of the goodies and I'm excited about the VIDEO and BOOK. I have many on the subject but haven't seen these 2.

So, I was thinking yesterday why my life was so peaceful about 5 years back and I came to the conclusion that one of the reasons is I was committed to a daily yoga practice whether at home or in class. Yoga has a way of centering me and channeling my high energy, it gives me focus and an inner strength with which I carry with me throughout the day when I practice regularly. Of course the health benefits are a bonus. Right now with EVERYTHING good going on around me - SO busy I am needing that focus, that foundation back in my life thus it's time to get that daily practice BACK IN BUSINESS so I can be a better me...

Thanks for the inspiration...Thanks for all the good information and...Thanks for the opportunity to win great stuff!! :)

Have a great week,
Jana

I need to get my yoga on because I am a SAHM, I live in an 800 square foot house with my hubby, 2 kids, 2 fish, 2 cats and my new goal has been to get rid of this leftover baby belly. Yoga has helped in the past to help strengthen belly muscles and relieve back pain.
I am already a subscriber on google reader. I would love to win something!!

I've been running for years, and have had terrible knee problems lately. I've started doing yoga because I heard it was a 'must' for runners, and it's helped a ton. I'd love to win any of these great prizes, and I've subscribed to your blog via Bloglines.

Yoga is mandatory for my running life. In fact I make leaps and bounds efforts to get to a yoga class twice a week. Need it to balance the running.

My daughter and I recently started doing yoga as a form of therapy. I can't really afford for the two of us to go to a yoga studio so we've been doing the home-thing as best as we can. Winning any one of these prizes would certainly help!

Subscriber. Thanks!

I would love to get my yoga on! I just had a baby two months ago, and though my weight is back down (breastfeeding's gift to a new mom) I can't wait to fit back into my old clothes.

Also, I have beaten up my body over the years through running and playing a division 1 college sport and have found that yoga is not only a very difficult workout, but also a healing one. Plus, you can't beat the runner's high that lasts for the whole day...maybe even through 2am and 5 am feedings...
