I am on vacation for a week and there are some great places for runs around here. I am looking forward to taking nice long runs that dont have to be rushed so I can quickly get home to shower and go to work. Your blog has been in my google reader for quite some time :)

I'm subscribed!

My goals this week are to get out for a 30 minute walk with the kids each day and run for 45 minutes 3 evenings after hubby is home.

I'd also like to do my pilates dvd two nights after everyone is in bed.

Thanks for the link!

This week I plan to continue with my exercise habit and work up to 10 minutes daily. It's not much, but it's something every day to keep me moving.

I've loved walking our neighborhood and park early in the morning, before everyone else is up.

This week I have soccer, mountain biking, kick boxing, and running planned. I tried yoga last week and liked the dvd I got, so more of that on Wednesday and Friday. Lots of variety now that I look at it!

Three runs planned - including one long one while visiting my in-laws in Montreal. I'll be gone for a few days so I need to stay focused while on the road. At least I will have someone to watch the kiddies while hitting the pavement.

I just subscribed, because I just found this cool blog! It must be karma or something, though, because my fitness plan this week is to run my first 5K race ever this Thursday. I could use some running gear, since I'm already eyeing my next race, a 4-miler in November... trying to make this new habit a long-lasting one.

This is an awesome giveaway! After a few days away, my goal is to hit 90 min of exercise through the rest of the week.

waking up will be a good start to my routine. and eating--does the hand-to-mouth motion count for anything?? and then walking. and sun-baking. and swimming at the beach.

i should probably fit in some sleep in there somewhere too....

I'm such a slacker. I will probably walk several evenings after work.

Thanks!

I've been walking, but also adding a little bit more jog to the end of my walk. On Monday I walked for 20 minutes and jogged for a minute (don't laugh). Tuesday, I did yoga with a friend. Today I walked for 25 minutes and jogged for almost two minutes.

I don't want any of you to feel like you are slackers or that I would laugh at your attempts to be FIT - you are all doing great! :)

Hello, What a great looking outfit! I have osteo-arthritis in both knees. Pain has been frequent, lately. I have been told to exercise the leg muscles around the knee to help support myself better. Leg lifts are first on my list. Please enter me in your drawing. Many thanks, Cindi

After spending the week at my parents which COMPLETELY screwed up my fitness regime, I plan to get back to the gym to train for the 10 minute mile I've been working towards since March. I've lost 30 pounds already, though I've likely gained a bunch back this week.

lol I just realized that I've been calling the plan I'm on the Couch to TWO k program.

WRONG! lol It's FIVE k, and I knew that, I just keep getting it tangled up in my head (maybe it's wishful thinking?)

This week, I'm on week 3, which means I be running on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday (and eating ice cream...I mean...) going to yoga on Monday and Saturday :)

I've been enjoying your blog! Keep up the hard work, it helps keep me motivated!
