Just spent the past hour transfixed on a new book I bought,
Midwest Modern by Amy Butler...First off you all should know that I don't know how to sew and may very well never learn...This book made me seriously consider hoping online and buying my first sewing machine EVER. The part of the book that I
enjoyed the most is that she takes things from her surroundings - her gardens, the hummingbirds off her back deck, flea market finds and uses those as the basis of her creativity. Her home & office spaces are lovely and peaceful and her clothes that she designed look comfy and chic. Click

okay, the bookstore that I go to should seriously send some perks your way. In the past few weeks since I started reading your blog, I've purchased four books! This will be my fifth...Can't wait, because I never thought I had the skill or the coordination to sew, even though it's something I've always wanted to learn to do! If you try it, then I will too!
