{ this is the new ME }

So I am in the throws of chaos - a 4 year old who is attached at my hip and a baby who sleeps through the day and is up all night. { note: I do not have 3 children - the little girl is Jayden, my brother's little girl. } My house is a wreck, my inbox is overflowing, orders haven't been shipped, laundry is in heaps everywhere and my husband is out of town. I've lost control. :-) But it gets better {or worse} I should add. Today, my husband broke his collarbone on his bike setting up the race course. SO HE CAN'T CHANGE A DIAPER FOR 8 WEEKS! Lord help ME. :-)

{ But the good news is Henry & Samme are great and we will SURVIVE! } I'm loving every moment with Henry...he is precious. I'll try to post more pics next week and some actual sanity saving tips IF and when I figure any out. {And in the meantime I will remember to BREATHE.}

Ahh....if I lived in town I would come grab Sammee in the afternoon to play...do all your dishes and cook you dinner. One day at a time, sometimes one hour at a time... :)

You can do this! Take a deep breath...your house will be fine, Henry will figure out a proper sleeping pattern, and your orders will be there tomorrow.

These moments are fleeting...enjoy every second. I'll be praying for you and your sweet family. [and that your hubby recovers quickly :) OUCH!]

Deep breaths! You will weather this storm with flying colors. The first two weeks of going from one to two were the most frenzied for me but also had some of the best moments. The chores can wait!

And yikes, sorry about your husband and the extra work load on your shoulders.

Oh Jenny.....I'm sorry! It is a very crazy time for you. Since I can't be there physically to help, I will be sending positive thoughts your way to help you breathe and relax in those few moments that you can! (Hope it helps!) We send hugs to you all!

Hey there...I couldn't find your email address, so I thought I would just leave a comment. I don't have any photos on my blog of the coop, but I'd be happy to email you one. We actually converted part of an old horse stable (added on an outdoor area with chicken wireenclosing it). I know that there are companies that build them for you, but that's probably too much, considering they are "just" chickens. :)
