Yes, Sam loves to "collect" seashells, rocks, etc from all the places we visit. We have a "cinderella figurine" from our disneyland trip that is waiting on a taller glass jar to add to the shelf.

What a great entry way shelf. I like unique furniture.
Storing souvenirs in labeled jars is a great idea. I have a box of seashells from, um, somewhere. Plus the jars help you keep the size of the collection manageable. - Rachel
