Have had a great weekend so far and hope you all have too! We went to a FUNdraiser on Friday night for the local kids mountain biking program...one of the 16 year old riders directed a film about the program that rocked. Really cool to see young kids involved in such a great sport! Yesterday, went to the farmers market with my mom and Samme and brought home more pumpkins and yummy fall veggies and then spent the day outside hiking, doing yard work and making peanut butter birdseed pinecones with Sam. She ended up licking peanut butter and bird seed off her fingers and Barley (our dog) ended up eating the pinecones, peanut butter and birdseed. This morning after some yoga and a yummy breakfast together, I decided to sit down and organize all of the magazine tear out pages I have laying around. I used to save so many magazines for just one article, one recipe, etc. But now I just tear the pages out before passing the magazines along or recycling them. So I created a binder and seperated it out into 5 sections - Life (this is where inspiring articles, pictures, etc. go); Fun (this is where fun recipes, art projects, travel ideas, etc. go); Fitness (workout ideas; yoga sequences & articles, etc.); To Do (to order, make, research); and Home (decorating ideas; home organization ideas, etc.). Fall is a great time to get organized! Hope this idea helps get you organized! Off to watch a bit of the Giants game before going on a hike! And then tonight, clean up the house (least favorite part of the weekend) and then sit down and plan my week - ME Time; workout plans; meal planning & a grocery shopping list).
